Last night a colleague and I attended an event hosted by Julian Young & Co, a criminal law practice in Mayfair.
 
Criminal and family lawyers often find themselves referring work to each other.  A criminal act can cause a marriage breakdown, or can be a clear sign (e.g in an assault by one spouse against the other) that a marriage is in trouble.
 
Held at a gallery in Mayfair, we were greeted by Julian Young and his team and had the chance to view some spectacular sculptures on show.  I was aware that Mitch Winehouse (father of songstress Amy) was due to entertain us but it was a complete surprise when Amy Winehouse herself arrived and treated us to an impromptu song or two.  There were a wide variety of attendees, from criminal counsel and ambassadors through to young stars in the world of entertainment.
 
Our thanks to Julian Young for holding such a spectacular and unusual event.  It was a very good example of how to stay in touch with those who complement the services offered to clients and who form part of our valued network of professionals.
