Alexander advises owner managed businesses on a wide range of commercial issues including negotiating contracts, employment law, protecting intellectual property rights and advising on corporate structures.
He has a lot of experience in advising both buyers and sellers of private companies and businesses.
Before he qualified as a solicitor, Alexander worked for ACAS.
Alexander provides employers with advice on employment law issues which include dismissal procedures, drafting employment contracts (particularly post termination restrictions) and TUPE transfers.
Alexander has a lot of experience in advising employees on the terms of proposed compromise agreements.
Alexander advised the owners of a TMT company which was offered for sale by auction. This involved project managing the data room, evaluating offers and negotiating the legal documentation.
Alexander advised an engineering company based in the UK on a joint venture project with a company in Chicago. This involved selecting, engaging and managing Illinois attorneys.
Alexander represented an employee work council in negotiations conducted during a TUPE transfer.
