We understand how important it is for businesses to protect their intellectual property rights.Our team works closely with our commercial clients assisting them to identify their intellectual property rights and we provide the necessary advice as to whether a particular client owns the rights that it assumed it did. We always recommend that our clients put in place, and then update, an “audit” of their intellectual property rights.
We regularly file applications for trade marks and registered designs with UKIPO (for UK registrations) and OHIM (for European registrations). Our team help our clients structure and negotiate the commercial terms whereby intellectual property rights are transferred or licensed.
