John has experience from both landlord and tenant perspectives and currently acts for a wide range of clients including property investment companies and managing agents as well as for private individuals. He has litigated in courts, Lands Tribunals and LVT and has used mediation and arbitration. He also has experience in contentious enfranchisement and lease extensions.

John studied law at the University of Warwick and completed his training contract at a firm in Liverpool. In 1997 he moved to Comptons in London and was admitted to the partnership in 2001.

He is married and his interests include travelling, history and heritage. He is a school Governor and a former founder Chairman of TABS (a local support service for drug addicts and their families).
