Seddons Solicitors as recognised supplier to the National Landlords Association
Seddons, the Central London law firm, has been appointed as a recognised supplier to The National Landlords Association.
The NLA is the largest representative body for landlords in the United Kingdom and represents nearly 20,000 landlords. The NLA runs one of the three tenancy deposit schemes which have been authorised by the Government.
Property Dispute Resolution Partner John Midgley commented “We are delighted to have been selected as a Recognised Supplier to the UK's leading landlord organisation. Given the heavy regulation faced by landlords and the effect of the credit crunch on the buy to let market, we hope to be able to work with landlords in tackling the difficulties they can often face."
Leon Golstein, the Head of Property Dispute Resolution at Seddons added “Whether it is our clients who hold large commercial portfolios or those with one or two properties, we know that landlords are concerned about maximising their rental income and dealing efficiently and cost effectively with problem tenants."
Seddons Property Dispute Resolution Team are able to provide specialist advice to assist landlords with all their legal needs including the recovery of rent, tackling breaches of obligations, squatters and the recovery of possession.
Simon Gordon, the Head of Communications at the NLA said “We welcome Seddons as a Recognised Supplier and see it as a very positive step for the NLA coming as it does at such an opportune moment in the Association’s development. The expertise that they bring will be of real benefit to our members”.
