Mediation
We encourage clients to mediate with their partners wherever possible and appropriate as a way of encouraging amicable dialogue between the parties.
Suitable couples can enter mediation before or after the issue of proceedings. Mediation often takes place in parallel with legal advice.
Margaret Kelly is a mediator. She is qualified to undertake sole or co-mediations. When practising the co-mediation model Margaret mediates with professionals from a family background such as psychology or family therapy.
We are unable to mediate for clients to whom we are providing legal advice, and will refer suitable clients to experienced mediators trained to deal with their particular issues. If so required, we can integrate the outcome of the mediation process into any ongoing dialogue to resolve the outstanding issues in a swift, considered fashion.
