Probate

Administering a deceased’s estate requires skill and expertise as well as a commitment to driving the process forward thus ensuring that the financial affairs of the deceased are settled within a satisfactory time frame.

Administraton

There are many different issues which may arise during the administration process and there is simply no substitute for having a reputable firm of Solicitors involved from the outset whose fund of knowledge and experience can be relied on to guide you through areas such as dealing with awkward family members, ensuring that any Inheritance Tax liability is kept to a minimum, handling unexpected complications legal or otherwise, or simply assisting you throughout the administration period in a friendly, supportive and professional manner.

Letters of Administration

Where there is no Will the estate will be distributed according to fixed rules known as the intestacy rules and instead of a Grant of Probate the court will issue Letters of Administration. Once the Letters of Administration have been issued, however, the process continues in a similar manner to a probate.
