Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA)
There are two types of LPA:
(i) A Property and Affairs LPA
This enables you to appoint one or more people to make decisions on your behalf regarding your property and financial affairs.
(ii) A Personal Welfare LPA
This enables you to appoint one or more people to make decisions on your behalf regarding your personal healthcare and welfare, however, they can only make these decisions for you when you lack the capacity to make them for yourself.
