Employment Partner or Senior AssociateSeddons is looking for a Partner or Senior Associate to join our Employment team.
Are you looking for a hands-on role where you have the opportunity to further develop your practice and professional profile, and have integral input in the support, growth and expansion of our Employment team?
Our team is small but punches above its weight with an established and varied client base. It prides itself on providing commercial and solutions-based advice to clients on the full ambit of contentious and non-contentious employment law. It has considerable interaction with the firm’s other departments and works closely with other teams on a range of client matters. The culture across the firm is collegiate and welcoming, with a strong ethos to service clients suitably and professionally.
The successful candidate will be able to service their own following and offer support to the Employment team’s predominantly employer client base. You will also be required to advise executive- level individual clients and provide support to our corporate, commercial and real estate teams. Whilst some assistance is needed to service the team’s current caseload, you will be an able marketeer and creative business developer, and have a portable employer following to bring with you.
You will have a strong and demonstrable interest in Employment Tribunal work, and have experience of representing Respondents and running claims from early concilation to trial. You will be comfortable providing strategic and commercial advice to clients, and have a good network of Counsel contacts that can be engaged to best support clients’ needs. Interest in providing training and workshops to clients would be a plus.
