Employment Lawyer with PQE 2-5 YearsAn opportunity is available for an Employment Solicitor with PQE 2-5 years, to join our busy employment team, situated in the heart of the West End.
The Employment team prides itself on its outstanding and long-term relationships with commercial clients across all sectors. The team works mainly for employer clients, so this role is more suited to those with a Respondent leaning. The department provides bespoke advice to executive level employees, however, the candidate would be expected to assist with settlement agreements, and advising individuals regarding their contractual terms and post termination restrictions.
The candidate should enjoy providing commercial, solutions-based advice to business clients, and possess excellent inter-personal, written and telephone communication skills. Employment Tribunal experience is a requirement.
The firm is extremely friendly, and many of our matters are generated from cross departmental referrals. The candidate should be a good team player and willing to work at generating good relations with colleagues throughout the business. Business Development, both during and out of work hours will be required, and candidates should be able to show a strong interest in these types of events, and enjoy the social nature of business development.
This role would apply to someone who enjoys the cut and thrust of employment litigation with the variety of non-contentious work. An eye for detail for producing and marking up employment documentation is essential, ranging from contracts of employment, handbooks, settlement agreements and employee/TUPE provisions in corporate and property transactions.
