Daniel is a Partner in the Real Estate Disputes Resolution team specialising in contentious real estate matters, landlord and tenant issues, and wider commercial and corporate disputes. Daniel has a varied client base including publicly traded companies listed on FTSE 250, property developers, banks and tertiary lenders, high net worth clients, corporate clients as well as private landlords and tenants.

He has extensive experience in complex litigation in the Court of Appeal, High Court, County Court, First-tier Tribunal, and Upper Tribunal. He has also acted in Arbitration Proceedings in the ICC.

  • Representing a shareholder in a company owning and running a chain of nightclubs in a dispute with other shareholders.
  • Obtaining and enforcing an High Court injunction against a Landlord who restricted access to leaseholders in a residential development.
  • Successfully challenging jurisdiction of the English Courts in a claim concerning Saudi Arabian assets.
  • Advising on complex rights of first refusal issues under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987.
