Business Immigration Associate, Ahmed Ajina, comments on Roman Abramovich's delayed visa application.
Business Immigration Associate Ahmed Ajina was interviewed by Russian international news agency, RIA Novosti, to discuss the delay to Roman Abramovich's visa application.
Ahmed discussed the UK government's current approach to Tier 1 visa applications, and advised that Mr Abramovich's decision to take Israeli citizenship would grant the right to travel to the UK without a visa and stay in the UK for short periods of up to 6 months. Ahmed also discussed the potential impact of the Home Office's increased scrutiny of sources of capital for Tier 1 investor applications.
