    Deborah Jeff is Featured in The Times' Brief


    Head of Family Deborah Jeff commented on new ONS statistics revealing a decline in the number of marriages in England and Wales.

    New ONS statistics have revealed the rate of marriage in England and Wales declined in 2015, reaching an all time low.

    Commenting on the findings in The Times' Brief, Head of Family Deborah Jeff observed that legislation has not “caught up and couples are living together without realising the legal rights — or lack of them — and responsibilities arising from that.” Deborah argued that cohabiting couples would be wise to consider a cohabitation agreement, as their best form of legal protection.
