Partner, Helen Crossland, has been quoted in The Telegraph discussing the Government's announcement of its new plans to give every UK employee the right to request flexible working from their first day in a new job.

"The proposals, arguably, are purposeful and a long time coming – if light on detail at this stage. Nonetheless, they may still be met with trepidation by businesses at a time when they are still contending with the legacy of the last 18 months."

"While the plans could be viewed by employers as a further impediment, the reality is that employees will still likely need to meet certain application criteria with no guarantee their chosen working style will be accepted as commercially viable."
