Family Partner Neil Russell joined Nick Ferrari to discuss a Court of Appeal ruling which ended a life-long spousal maintenance order.
This morning Partner Neil Russell joined Nick Ferrari on his LBC breakfast show to discuss yesterday's Court of Appeal Ruling.
In the case, the ex-wife Ms Waggott had been awarded a £10m settlement and annual maintenance payments of £175,000 in 2012. Ms Waggott was seeking an increase of her maintenance payments, but the judge ruled that the maintenance payments should stop in three years’ time.
Neil discussed the significance of this ruling and the decline of so-called 'meal ticket for life' orders.
